High Sierra leaves Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 behind, 2016 edition needs updating

Weird how a 3rd party app like LibreOffice can work so well on all versions of an OS but the apps from major vendors like MS and Adobe are having trouble. Seems fishy.

Rumor: With launch looming, 'iPhone 6s' production delayed by 1-2 weeks: "Relatively little is know about Apple's next-generation iPhones, though they are expected to add Force Touch capability along with a new A9 processor. Amazing that anything can be kept under wraps these days.

Apple hires head of Mercedes-Benz R&D, other auto experts for new secret research lab | 9to5Mac: "Apple has hired former president and CEO of Mercedes-Benz Research & Development Johann Jungwirth to join the company as Director of Mac Systems Engineering. The hire was confirmed by Jungwirth’s LinkedIn page, and first noted by a report in the Financial Times detailing Apple’s recent hires in the automotive industry and secretive new automotive research lab."
