Apple Watch chips laid bare in X-ray, microscope imagery
In its own teardown, Chipworks noted that with all the new and proprietary technology Apple built in to Apple Watch, the device is the most sophisticated attempt at a wearable product to date. The firm points out that most devices on the market run on relatively old embedded chips, while Apple developed an entirely new package for Watch.

Google announces Q1 2015 earnings: $17.3 billion revenue, $3.6 billion net income | 9to5Google: "Google today has posted its earnings for Q1 2015. The company reports revenue of $17.3 billion, which is up 12 percent compared to the first quarter of 2014. Net income for Q1 2015 was $3.68 billion For the first quarter of 2015, the company also reports earnings per share of $6.57."
That's a lot of cheese. Nice to see my two favorite cheesy factories doing well.

Aperture and iPhoto were removed from the Mac App Store and are no longer available for download, checks of the storefront showed on Friday, signaling an end to two long-running product lines.


Who are the psychos running this thing?
Note to self: burn a copy of that Aperture binary to a DVD-R for safekeeping! Another example of that killer "enterprise strategy"!
