Autodesk dropping support for Alias and VRED in macOS Mojave over OpenGL deprecation: "It isn't clear why Autodesk made the declaration that OpenGL's deprecation was responsible for the applications not working in Mojave. Deprecation does not mean removed, and the existing OpenGL implementation in High Sierra remains in Mojave."

Why would you continue to develop a codebase that has no future on the platform? Nothing says open standards like dropping support for them. I'm glad I spent last summer learning Metal rather than rewriting my OpenGL code for 64-bit. Dodged that bullet.
