UK dead-set on 10-year sentences for P2P pirates | Ars TechnicaThe UK government has confirmed that it wants to bring in legislation increasing the maximum sentence for online copyright infringement to 10 years of imprisonment, despite widespread objections and doubts about its feasibility.
No jailtime for the banksters in the City of London, ever, but download a shitty song and go to prison for 10 years. That sounds just about right, doesn't it Mr. Orwell?
